Rest and Relax in Our Bothy

Situated in the heart of the Killgallioch Forest, the Beehive bothy is owned by the trust and is open to all the public to use 365 days a year! Its unique design , and situated in a very remote sport along the Southern Upland Way, along with its fire pit and log store give users a very welcome spot to stop on this fantastic route and recuperate.

This bothy can sleep up to 6 on benches with additional room on the floor. There is an outdoor fire area and picnic bench. We have placed a few books inside, and there is a drying rope hung up , as well as a few chairs for you to use as you gaze into the unspoiled night sky and enjoy star gazing.

This is a truly unique bothy and we have had fantastic feedback in our journal and on social media with many people returning regularly. Please enjoy your stay there and feel free to leave us feedback on any improvements you think we could make.
